TRIPLE B TRIO
Performing on mandolin, electric guitar, and bass, the 3 -"B's" (Bill Adams, Brian Muller, and Bob Thomas) offer a wide selection of upbeat music geared towards the autumn pumpkin celebration. The band plays old favorites in the country, blues, folk, swing, jazz, and pop genres. In fact, Bill's guitar has been nicknamed "The Pumpkin Special" because of its bold orange color! Most weekends the TRIPLE B can be heard on stage throughout the month of October.

LONESOME COWBOY DRIFTERS
The "Cowboys" perform the classic Nashville country standards of the 1950's and 1960's. The great hits of Hank Williams, Merle Haggard, Buck Owens, Johnny Cash, and George Jones flavor the musical offerings of this five piece band. Two and three part vocal harmonies are used to showcase the old classic favorites. The band includes lead and rhythm guitars, bass, and steel guitar played in the traditional Grand Ole Opry style!

THE JAVA BROTHERS
This Radford-based band plays traditional hard-drivin' Bill Monroe style bluegrass with a few additional tunes by such artists as John Prine, John Denver, Ricky Scaggs, and George Jones! The band has a full lineup of bass, guitar, banjo, fiddle, mandolin, and dobro. The three-part vocal harmonies are equally at home with a Ralph Stanley tune or a rollicking version of a Rolling Stones's classic!

ALLEGHANY STRINGS
"Alleghany Strings" is an outreach ministry of Alleghany Baptist Church in Blacksburg,
Virginia. The band's mission is to present The Word of God by entertaining folks with
traditional gospel tunes played in the old-time mountain and bluegrass styles. Pastor Alpheus Atkins takes the lead vocals and guitar on most numbers, accompanied
by his wife, Eva, singing harmony and playing autoharp. Larry Vest is on rhythm guitar,
Todd Taylor picks the banjo, and Bob Ashcraft provides the foundation on bass.

Naturally Sharp is Virginia Tech's finest all-male a cappella group. Since 2002, the Natty boys have been rocking the stage, serenading the ladies, and raising the bar for on-stage entertainment.

The Rockers are having a coin drive while they are at the farm to perform to raise money for Nationals in April.  Please give your change from your ice cream cone at Henry’s Udder Delight to support the Dance Team.

Established in 1996, Mixed Emotions is the second oldest A Cappella group made up of 12-15 members a semester.  Music arrangements, oldies and pop, are done by current and former members of the group with ranges from four to eight parts.

Sensations is an all female a cappella group from Virginia Tech that was established in 2003 as an entirely student run and non-profit organization.  They have performed with VoiceMale from Brandeis University, Exit 245 of JMU, The Octaves from the University of Richmond and Virginia Tech’s Juxtaposition.

Soulstice is Virginia Tech’s all female a cappella group founded in 1998.  They pride themselves on musical integrity, friendship and laughter.  Current Songs they play is “Replay,” “Heart of the Matter,” “In His Kiss,” “Accidentally in Love,” “Untouched,” “Love is a Circus,” “Livin on a Prayer,” “Eyes on Me” and “Because The Night.”
