Pumpkin Festival Field Trips (September and October)

Field Trip Includes:

Ages--Preschool to 2nd Grades:

* Hay rides to the Pumpkin Patch (everyone picks a pumpkin)
* Barn of Farm Animals with Educational Facts
* Kid’s Size Hay Bale Maze
* Milk-A-Cow and Old Fashioned Water Pump
* Pumpkin Special Educational Exhibits (including: growing pumpkins and guessing game)

Ages--3rd to 5th Grades:

* Hay rides to the Pumpkin Patch (everyone picks a pumpkin)
* Barn of Farm Animals with Educational Facts
* 5 Acre, 12 Foot Tall Corn Maze
* Special Educational Exhibits (including: growing pumpkins, special bugs that farmers rely on, and key learning focus on the Corn Maze--while finding the exit, you find how food gets from the farm to the table)

All may bring snacks or lunch to enjoy on our grounds.

Special Note: Potties and hand washing stations available. Please bring blankets for lunch/snacks. Please bring bags for taking pumpkins home. Receipts will be provided with payment on arrival. School purchase orders also accepted.

The Sinkland Farms Educational Nature Trail is designed to meet many of the Virginia SOL's. Teachers and students receive an educational packet to guide them through the trail along with follow-up activities for the classroom.
